So here’s the thing, when you put two beautiful souls together, add in a gorgeous day, people who love you, that special tree you met by during college, a surprise visit from your grandmother, cupcakes, amazing food, a photo booth and a rockin’ band…you get an amazing wedding with lots of happy people! That about sums up Cate and Cathrine’s wedding and I have photos to prove it.
These two ladies and their loving families were such a joy to photograph we didn’t want the celebration to end. I got to spend the day with my super talented pal Kelly Prizel who helped me capture so much awesomeness. We started at the Lord Jeffrey Inn for getting ready and then we went to Cate and Cathrine’s alma mater Mount Holyoke College for their ceremony. Their reception was held at the Blue Heron Restaurant in Sunderland, which is an amazing restaurant if you haven’t checked it out yet. The decor at the Blue Heron is elegant and rich in color, a perfect complement to Cate and Cathrine’s flowers and wedding details. Check out the painted wallpaper runners they created to mimic the tin ceilings…so cool!
Thank you Cate and Cathrine for the honor of photographing your special day. Being witness to your love and getting to know your families was such a privilege. I hope you enjoy this collection of beautiful moments from your day.
This is the tree where all the magic began.
The Abbey Chapel at MHC is so beautiful. Photo by Kelly.
Cate and Cathrine had two signature cocktails: The Bee’s Knees and The Manhattan.Everyone had so much fun that rainbows started to appear!
The Boss Band was ah-mazing! This great shot was captured by Kelly.
A huge shout out to the amazing vendors who made Cate and Cathrine’s day complete. And to Kelly Prizel and Brett for being my right-hand ladies all day!
