Melissa and Matt are two of the sweetest people I had the pleasure of meeting in 2013. After meeting them, and then having one of the dreamiest engagement sessions with them, I knew it was going to be a great day. They are incredibly sentimental and family is everything to them. Before the wedding day Melissa said she was worried about how emotional the day was going to be. I think life milestones are filled with a range of emotions and are truly special, especially when you are the first ones in your family to marry. Surrounded by lots of family, including four sets of grandparents, they tied the knot.
Their ceremony was at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Ludlow, a beautiful church where lots of Portuguese weddings take place. This was my first time photographing a Portuguese wedding and I loved every minute of it! There is often a large number of guests, lots of courses to the meal, traditional music for dancing, and in this case a flash mob on the dance floor! It was a day to remember with their family embracing these two sweet people all day long.
