Rustic Wedding at Quonquont Farm: Megan and Joey

Megan and Joey were married at Quonquont Farm surrounded by family and friends, faith and love, and the sweet sounds of lots and lots of children! Megan is a midwife so it was only fitting to see so many little ones present. Their day was filled with so many personal touches from the flowers and plants by good friend Lizzie, sweet furniture that traveled from Indiana with Megan’s parents, a sweet tea recipe from Joey’s family and so many more details expertly handled by Nadia, all making the day fun, beautiful and intimate.

One of my favorite moments of the day was when Megan and Joey decided to spend some time alone after their ceremony. A family quilt was laid on a bench where they sat and had something to eat, a cold beverage, and a moment to bask in the glow of being married. It was such a lovely thing to witness, I would recommend it to all of my couples.

I so appreciate when families trust me to photograph all of the love and hard work that goes into making their child’s day special. It is an honor and a treat to be in the midst of such love. Please take a moment to enjoy the splendor of Megan and Joey’s day, it really was quite a blessing.
