Last night was the official opening of my studio in Open Square in Holyoke, and to say it was exciting would be an understatement. For me it was a dream come true after wanting to be in a space of my own for almost four years. It was a chance to create an environment that was beautiful, collaborative, welcoming and in my mind a celebration of all of the people I’ve captured and who have supported and loved me throughout this journey. Yup, I’m tearing up again, but it’s all good.
A big shout out to my parents, my sisters and brothers, and the love of my life, Brett, for your constant love and support. Thank you to my pal Rebecca of Forget Me Not Florist who is an amazing floral designer and an even better friend. Big hugs to Kendra and the staff at the Blue Heron for providing amazing food for the evening and for always taking such good care of me. Gratitude to Michelle and Peter of Open Square who helped me with so many requests to make my space look as amazing as it did. Thank you to Debbie of The Muse Framing for providing beautiful framing and matting for my photographs. Much appreciation to my sister-in-law Christa for many of the party guest photos, and to Paola for the amazing cake pops…seriously the best from these two.
It is because of you I get to live out my dream and make this world a better place through the photographs I take of you and your life stories. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I can’t wait to share the next phase of Sandra Costello Photography.
Enjoy a few images of my space and all of the beautiful touches that made the night so magical. Plus bonus photos from the Foto Fun Booth. Enjoy!
My gorgeous framed quote was hand-chalked by my pal Lauren of Eutopia Events. These sweet magnets were my parting gift to folks and made by Busy Beaver Buttons. Seriously, these cake pops could inspire world peace! Thank you Paola!Umm hello, are these peonies not gorgeous?!
Just taking it all in!This is just what Ashley and I do. We jump and jump until we get the shot. Yay!
