Smith College Helen Hills Hills Chapel Wedding: Mollie and Tom

Mollie was the happiest bride on the planet. Seriously. And Tom was the happiest groom because he got to marry this beautiful lady, but that happiness was already evident when I photographed their engagement shoot this past spring. Together they are a bright spot in this world and whether it has to do with the luck of the Irish or not these two were meant to be together. Their family and friends were overjoyed and it showed.

Their ceremony was at the Helen Hills Hills Chapel on the campus of Smith College, where Mollie went to school. This chapel is such a beauty and has that traditional look of New England. After dodging a few raindrops we made our way over to the Garden House at Look Park and the party got underway.

There were a lot of personal touches to the day. Mollie’s shoes alone were awesome! She had an extra apostrophe stitched into her shoes to further exclaim her love for Tom. And her purse? It used to be her First Communion dress…love this girl! They also took buttons to decorate their day and to share how this simple object is what holds us together and shares the stories of our lives. It was a day to celebrate and to remember those dear to them.

Mollie and Tom, you are two very special people and I knew that from the very beginning. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your beautiful day, it was amazing!
