Lucky. This is the word I use to celebrate and exclaim the relationship of Jennie and Mike. These two people couldn’t be more perfect together and their wedding day in Boston was an explosion of love and the good fortune they have in their lives. Their love for each other and everyone who joined them was so evident I think I only have three photos of them not grinning from ear to ear. And the thing is their joy is contagious. Seriously, I’m grinning right now as I write this.
Their day was clear and cool and such a gift considering it was pouring buckets the few days leading up to their wedding. We started at the Boston Hilton for getting ready and their first look, and then to Post Office Square for a few portraits. Despite the wind Jennie was determined to get some photos in and around Boston. We hit up Fanueil Hall and then made our way to the State Room for their ceremony and reception. One of my favorite moments is this first photo. It’s so iconic of Boston and its history, and to watch Jennie and Mike head to their ceremony with such excitement made everyone who passed them cheer and wish them well.
Jennie and Mike, it was such a blast to be a part of your amazing day! I can’t wait to share the rest of your photos and to continue to celebrate this life you have created together. Much love to you both!
Love this one of Jennie above, and her mom below, getting emotional about seeing each other. Both taken by Lindsay.
I love this capture by Lindsay of Jennie getting ready for Mike to see her!
Simultaneous grinning! I love these guys!
Did I mention it was windy?!
Family portraits are really important to me. I don’t always share them in my posts and thought you’d like to see a few. Love the chuppah Lotus Floral Events created.
Best mother-daughter portrait ever!
And then things really got serious! Up they go for the biggest horah I’ve ever seen.
A huge shout out to my second photographer, Lindsay Flanagan! Girl, you rocked it and captured so many beautiful moments, the day would not have been properly preserved without you. And to my good pal Susan Kowalski for photographing during the reception, you were clutch! Seriously, these two ladies totally made my day and were amazing.
