Fall is one of my favorite times of the year to photograph. It’s not just the colors and the light, there’s a certain energy in the air that signals change and possibility. Chana and Geoff’s day definitely had that energy in the air. And to watch family and friends come together to witness these two souls join as one was truly special.
Their ceremony and reception was held at the Red Barn, which is on the campus of Hampshire College where Chana went to school. The Red Barn is such a sweet little spot and one of my favorite venues in western Massachusetts. Their ceremony included many symbolic objects and words that were eloquent and came from the heart. After their ceremony family and friends gathered in a tent for toasts and well wishes and then when the dancing began, the party really started!
Thank you Chana and Geoff and to your families for welcoming me into your life at this very special time. Your day was filled with such beauty and authenticity, it was a true joy to photograph. I hope you enjoy some of my favorite images from your wedding day. Cheers!

Ribbons with sweet messages hung from Chana’s wedding dress hanger. I loved this idea so much.
Chana wore a vintage garter that also had a pocket for a lucky penny.
We had a small window of no rain to capture a few portraits outside and Chana and Geoff and their friends made the most of it!
Chana even had a pony at her wedding.
This amazing cake topper, or pie topper as the case may be, was made by Geoff’s sister. Halos placed by me:)
